Job Description We are seeking two dedicated and passionate Nursery Assistants / Nursery Practitioners to join our team at our award winning Epsom nursery. Ideally candidates will hold a level 2 or 3 childcare / early years qualification however full training and support can be provided. We also have a fully funded training scheme in place for people who are looking to obtain their early years levels or complete further qualifications. As a Nursery Assistant / Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in our nursery. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in early childhood education and a passion for working with children. Duties of the Nursery Assistant / Nursery Practitioner include: Create a stimulating and engaging environment for children in the nursery Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs Supervise and monitor children to ensure their safety at all times Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues Observe and assess children's development and provide feedback to parents Collaborate with other nursery practitioners to create a cohesive team environment Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities The ideal candidate will: Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe. Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five. Be qualified to Level 2, 3 or equivalent in childcare / early years (desirable) Have a good working knowledge of the EYFS – Early Years Foundation Stages (desirable) We offer competitive compensation based on experience and level of qualification, as well as a range of other benefits including regular performance related pay reviews, funded further training opportunities, professional development and great opportunities for progression.
