We are seeking a qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an excellent knowledge in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. A childcare qualification Level 2 or 3 is required. This role involves creating a stimulating learning environment for children, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their development. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will have key role responsibilities supporting both children and their families. Responsibilities Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development across all areas. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns. Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment that meets health and safety regulations. Observe and assess children's development, keeping accurate records to track progress. Experience Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is desired. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues. A genuine passion for childcare and commitment to promoting children's welfare and development.
