Glasgow, United Kingdom Job Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and qualified Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join our dedicated team in providing high-quality early years education and care for children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children’s learning and development, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment, and working collaboratively with the nursery team to achieve the best outcomes for the children in our care. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities to support children's physical, emotional, and intellectual development. Foster positive relationships with children, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and respected. Create and maintain individual learning plans for children, observing and recording their progress and achievements. Support children with daily routines, including feeding, toileting, and napping, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Work in partnership with parents and carers, providing regular feedback on their child’s development and addressing any concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating environment that promotes play-based learning. Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times, and children’s health and safety are prioritized. Collaborate with colleagues to create an effective team environment and share best practices for children’s care and education. Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to continuously improve practice. Assist with the preparation and maintenance of educational resources and learning areas. Skills and Qualifications: Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or equivalent). Previous experience working with children in an early years setting. Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Passion for working with children and supporting their development. Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures. Ability to observe, assess, and record children’s development. First Aid and safeguarding training (or willingness to complete). Benefits: Competitive salary.
