Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong background in early childhood education. You will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Your role will involve managing daily activities, supporting children's development, and ensuring effective communication with parents and colleagues. Duties Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years in a nursery setting. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development effectively. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge. Requirements Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a small team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. A genuine passion for childcare and the ability to inspire young learners. Knowledge of child development theories and practices is beneficial.
