The Dulwich Day Nursery & Pre-School SE6 4LP Nursery Practitioner Level 2. Little Buds 2-3 years Olds Salary £24,960 per annum Full Time - 40 hours over 4 days, 40 hours over 5 days , 4days over 36 hours (we want to be flexible and have patterns that works around you, please note less hours will change salary ) We are dedicated to supporting your career growth and development. The Dulwich Day Nursery & Pre-School, a proud extension of the Family First Group, is seeking a skilled Nursery Practitioner Level 2 to join our vibrant team. In this capacity, you will act as a key figure for a designated group of children, overseeing their daily routines, engaging with parents, and crafting an environment that fosters their development and learning. This position mandates a commitment of 20 hours per week and requires a valid Level 2 Childcare Qualification. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will: Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development. Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met. Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery and promote these daily in every routine. Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families. Maintain strictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy and procedures. Facilitate a strong key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and cover all children daily when colleagues are absent. Attend regular team meetings to ensure that you remain updated on key priorities, changes, developments and regularly review company policies and procedures. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will need: Full and relevant Level 2 childcare qualification - essential Fluent in written and spoken English - essential Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable Why Join Us?
