We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join an excellent Nursery based in Winchester.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education with either a level 2 or 3 qualification or equivalent and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children in the nursery setting. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of our youngest learners.

Salary:

£24,995 - £25,750 per annum

Hours:

40 hours over either 4 or 5 days Monday to Friday

Duties

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play. Build a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children. Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents and guardians. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships. Manage daily routines and ensure the smooth operation of the nursery. Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in early years education. Follow the EYFS practice. Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive approach to child development. Drive initiatives that enhance the learning experience and overall nursery environment. Qualifications

Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential. Experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with young children and understanding their needs. Ability to drive initiatives that foster children's growth and development. Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early years education.
