Job description Nursery Practitioner (L2+) - Tonbridge (TN10) - Monday to Friday - £12-£13 per hour A lovely setting based within a School in Tonbridge are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join their small, close knit team. This setting has lots of involvement within the school so there are opportunities to work with a range of ages at times. They pride themselves on having a small team within a nurturing environment and encourage extra training to enhance your knowledge, as well as constant support during your career. This setting is open all year round and would like someone to start ASAP, however they can be flexible with regards to full time or part time hours.Benefits: Free lunches Company pension Uniform provided Training opportunities Company events Responsibilites: To provide the highest quality of care and development opportunities for all children aged three months to four years, with regard to their physical, social, emotional and intellectual development. Be a key person, encouraging and supporting children's individual development andlearning. Keep developmental records and observations via Famly and liaise with colleagues. Be a buddy key person, working in a team to offer consistency of care. Ensure the welfare of all the children in their care, are safe, happy, enjoy school and are integrated into all aspects of school life, as and when they are ready for them. Foster and build a strong professional relationship with each child's family and their carers. Promote positive management of each child's behaviour and follow up on feedback from staff regarding behaviour issues. Liaise with parents and colleagues to adopt and maintain effective communication within the Early Years Department. Work as part of a team throughout the day, supporting children, parents and colleagues. Be aware of the needs of individual children when supervising mealtimes, including dietaryand medical issues.Requirements: Must hold a minimum of a level 2 in Childcare Passionate about supporting Children with their development Driven and reliable Calm nature and flexible approach If this sounds like you, send your CV to se.london@tinies.com to apply!
