Early Years Nursery Practitioner and Room Manager / Leader Options for the successful candidate to work with any age group based on experience and preference; the room lead role would be working within our 2-year-old room. Level 2 or 3 qualified Nursery Early Years Practitioner: Full or part-time working 2, 3, 4, or 5 days per week. We are currently recruiting for a Room Leader and Nursery Practitioner for our beautiful nursery and preschool in the heart of Wimbledon with great transport links. Main Responsibilities of the Nursery Early Years Practitioner: - Level 2 or 3 Qualified Practitioners: Provide a positive learning environment that offers choice, independence, and a range of experiences while meeting all of the children's needs. Have key person responsibility and carry out daily and individual planning. Ensure a safe, secure, and caring environment for the well-being of the children. Assist the Nursery Management in all aspects of providing day-to-day high-quality childcare. - Nursery Room Leader/Manager: The Room Manager must hold a full and relevant level 3 or above qualification in childcare. Will have responsibility for the day-to-day running of the 2-year-old room. Will care for children, maintaining a high-quality, stimulating learning environment. Supervise staff. Implement new ideas and continually improve practice and support the management team in the nursery. The Ideal Candidate Will: Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play, and be safe. Have previous experience working with children under the age of five. Be qualified to NVQ level 2 / 3 or equivalent in childcare (level 3 or higher for Lead roles). Have a good working knowledge of the EYFS - Early Years Foundation Stages. We appreciate that it is important to get work-life balance right, and as such, we are happy to consider either full-time (over 4 or 5 days) or part-time hours, and salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
