A nursery in Essex is looking for a Nursery Practitioner and a Room Leader to join their growing nursery team in the following roles: Level 2/3 Practitioners Room Leader (Level 3 and above) Qualified Teachers (additional language skills are a plus!) Main responsibilities of the Nursery Practitioner/Room Leader: Provide a positive and happy learning environment that offers choice, independence and a range of experiences, whilst meeting all of the children's needs. Lead and coach the Nursery Practitioners in the room (Room Leader role). Have key person responsibility and carry out daily and individual planning. Ensure a safe, secure and caring environment for the well-being of the children. Assist the Nursery Management in all aspects of providing day-to-day high-quality childcare. Requirements: Be qualified to Level 2/3 or equivalent in childcare (highly desirable). Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play, and be safe. Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five. Have a good working knowledge of the EYFS - Early Years Foundation Stages (desirable). Build and maintain excellent relationships with staff and parents. What we offer: £26-£34k annual salary. Up to 31 days holiday a year (including bank holidays).
