An exciting opportunity has arisen within an established and well-respected family run nursery for a qualified practitioner role. Within this role, candidates will be required to work as a member of the staff team, supporting other staff members and students on placement within the Nursery. A warm, caring learning environment meeting every child’s individual needs must always be provided. Candidates will be required to maintain the highest standards of safety and security both on and off the premises, with the children in their care. Responsibilities include: Taking children on walks to the beach or park, using the nursery's buggies or walk-o-dile. Understanding and implementing Safeguarding policies and procedures. Having a clear understanding of the current EYFS and the ability to implement it on a practical level. Working as a supportive and co-operative team member. Attending Progress Reviews and staff meetings. Being the Key Worker to a designated group of children. Participating in relevant training to improve working practice, extend childcare knowledge, and update skills. Partaking in nursery events for the children (during working hours), such as World Book Day dress-up, Easter egg hunt, Halloween party, Christmas party, and charity events like Red Nose Day.
