As a nursery practitioner, you will work with babies and children up to the age of 5. You will help them to develop social and behavioural skills while engaging in age-appropriate activities.
Main responsibilities:
Keeping a record of each baby or child's development progress Create an environment that adapts to each child's individual needs Maintain high standards for hygiene and safety Adhering to the nursery or pre-schools policies and procedures
Key requirements:
Experience in a nursery or day care is desirable NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is essential An enhanced DBS check which is on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) In-depth understanding of children's development and their emotional, physical and intellectual needs
