Our nursery is highly regarded for its commitment to quality early years care and education, supporting children from 6 months to 4 years. We pride ourselves on creating a safe, fun, and stimulating setting where every child can thrive and enjoy the best start in life. Your Role as Nursery Practitioner:

As a valued member of our team, you will collaborate with experienced colleagues to create an enriching environment for our children. Key responsibilities will include:

Activity Planning:

Develop and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. Progress Monitoring:

Observe children’s development, recording their achievements and key milestones. Parent Communication:

Build positive relationships with children and parents, ensuring clear and supportive communication. Safety & Hygiene:

Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for children at all times. Emotional Support:

Foster children’s emotional well-being, providing comfort and encouragement as needed. Team Collaboration:

Work alongside the team to cultivate a creative and stimulating learning environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent). Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting is advantageous. Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and its practical application. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A genuine enthusiasm for supporting children’s development and well-being.

Working Hours:

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with hours from 8am to 6pm. We are committed to promoting a healthy work-life balance within a supportive working environment. Benefits:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
