Part-Time Nursery Practitioner - Bath (Supporting SEN Students in Mainstream Nursery)
Location: BA1/BA2 Position: Part-Time Nursery Practitioner Term Time Only: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 1 PM. Start Date: 13th January 2024
Five Education is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Nursery Practitioner to work within a mainstream nursery in Bath, supporting nursery students with additional needs. This role provides an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with conditions such as Down Syndrome, ADHD, Autism, Learning Difficulties, Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with Early Years throughout the week, providing tailored support to students with specific educational needs within a mainstream nursery setting. Support classroom teachers in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students. Provide tailored support during lessons, activities, and potentially break times. Foster a safe and inclusive environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Support students with communication strategies and interventions to aid their speech and language development. Assist with personal care as required.
Essential Criteria: Experience working with Early Years (EYFS). A genuine interest in supporting children and young people with additional needs. The right to work in the UK (we cannot accept sponsorship or skilled worker visas). Relevant references and DBS/police checks. Availability to work 5 days a week (Mon - Fri), term time only (8 AM - 1 PM).
