dedicated and compassionate ASD Specialist

to support children in their

Nursery and Reception (EYFS)

classes. This is a

full-time, long-term role

for the entire academic year, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in young learners' lives. Role Overview The school is looking for a

dedicated, patient, and enthusiastic individual

to provide

1:1 support

to a

non-verbal child with ASD

in the Early Years setting. The role involves both

academic and well-being support , ensuring the child can engage effectively with learning and social activities.

Key Responsibilities Providing

1:1 support

in a Reception class Assisting with

phonics, spelling, reading, and writing

in small groups and individual sessions Delivering

creative and sensory-based learning activities Supporting

non-verbal communication , with

MAKATON experience preferred Offering

personal care

as required

Requirements The school is seeking candidates with: A

degree from a reputable university A

strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum Experience or knowledge of

working with non-verbal ASD students A

positive and engaging approach

to learning support The ability to work effectively

within a large team
