Ensure the care and education of children is of the highest standards. Complete and monitor all paperwork effectively, including written observations, planning, and learning journeys, in line with EYFS requirements. Maintain positive communication with parents and ensure quality handovers. Keep colleagues informed of relevant information for parents and maintain confidentiality. Safeguard children and respond to their well-being, logging any concerns and following safeguarding procedures. Arrive ten minutes prior to the start of your shift and work flexibly as required. Attend staff meetings, training, parent's evenings, and nursery events. Undertake domestic tasks within the nursery and maintain the presentation of rooms to high standards. Embrace equality of opportunity and support children with additional needs. Build and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, children, parents, OFSTED, and external agencies. Adhere to safeguarding procedures and complete required checks prior to employment.
