My client (nursery) in Crawley is seeking a nursery room leader. You must be qualified to a minimum of a level 3 nursery practitioner qualification to apply.

We require a minimum of one of the following qualifications:

CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Child Care and Education and above

BTEC National Diploma in Early Years

NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development or above

NNEB Certificate

The ideal candidate should be able to work in partnership with the manager and deputy manager to ensure the daily running of the Baby Room effectively. Good computer skills are required.

Responsibilities include:

Ensure the calm, smooth running of the room and the delegation of roles to staff as appropriate.

Model and support high-quality interactions that extend children's learning and thinking.

Supervise and support all staff to provide a high-quality learning environment and interactions with children.

Plan, prepare, and participate in a range of activities that promote each child's physical, intellectual, and emotional needs.

Monitor planned activities for suitability and quality, providing feedback to staff.

Maintain an Action Plan for the development of your classroom, including the physical environment and procedures.

Provide daily feedback to parents through the nursery portal Famly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £28,000.00 per year
