We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our highly regarded Stepping Stones Day Nursery Team in Urmston as a Nursery Room Leader.
Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a team to deliver high standards of quality childcare practices. Support your Nursery Manager to develop the overall performance of the nursery. Observe, assess, and plan effectively in order to deliver outstanding learning opportunities and exceptional care for children in the early years. Provide high standards of quality within the nursery including the environment, resources, and experiences offered to the children so they can access continuous provision, play, learn and develop. Safeguard and promote the health, safety, and welfare of children. Be aware of the signs of abuse and neglect and how to report these. Have a great knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) safeguarding and welfare requirements. Liaise with external agencies and parents to provide the best care for children. Communicate effectively, giving direction and support to other practitioners throughout the nursery wherever needed. Minimum Requirements:
Full and relevant DfE recognised childcare qualification at Level 3 or above i.e. Diploma in Nursery Nursing, NNEB or NVQ Level 3 as a minimum requirement and SEN qualification or experience.
