We currently have a vacancy for 2 enthusiastic Room Leaders, one for our Waddlers room (16 months - 2 years) and the other in our Toddler room.
Desirable skills for this role:
Former experience working in a childcare environment (e.g., day nursery, after school club, school)
Knowledge of OFSTED, EYFS, and other relevant childcare policies and programs
Knowledge of safeguarding and the role of a DSL
Paediatric first aid certificate
Food hygiene certificate
Current Level 4 Safeguarding training certificate
This job involves:
Leading a team of practitioners to provide outstanding care
Leading the settling-in sessions with new parents, establishing positive relationships, and supporting both the child and parents during these sessions
Ensuring paperwork within the rooms is completed accurately and efficiently
Promoting the nursery to current and prospective parents
Leading the team and supporting your team to fulfill their individual personal development plans
Full Time:
Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week (4-day week can be discussed), 52 weeks a year Starting Salary:
£29,328.00
