We are looking for someone who is kind, a respectful team player with a passion to support patients, families, and their colleagues. The successful applicant will be an integral part of the team working alongside a Registered Nurse or Hospice Paramedic and volunteers. Every day will be different. The role involves working long days and nights over a 7-day week. As a nursing assistant you will:

Support patients and their families. Engage in the use of information and communication technology (ICT) and maintain the utmost confidentiality. Adhere to the organisational policies and procedures. Personal Specification:

NVQ level 3 in Health & Social Care, or NVQ 2 with willingness to work towards level 3. Experience of working in a health care setting. A good understanding of the needs of patients and those important to them in palliative care. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Be able to work as part of a team and be confident to work as directed by seniors on your own.
