is a small but versatile team supporting follow-up appointments, rapid access clinics, and "hot" clinics. It also manages six beds that accommodate therapies such as gastroenterology and rheumatology infusions, endocrine and metabolic tests, and food challenges. Carousel and Fairground
see a high volume of patients from a wide variety of specialities, including general medicine, dermatology, respiratory, cardiology, and trauma and orthopaedics. Rainforest
specialises in burns and plastics but also cares for patients with spinal, neuromuscular, and neurosurgical conditions. Job responsibilities

Qualifications & Training
Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register GCSE Grade A-C in Maths & English or skills level 2 Maths & English or equivalent Knowledge and Experience
Experience of caring for sick patients in a variety of settings - this could be as trainee Understanding of the scope of the role of the Nursing Associate in context of the nursing and interdisciplinary team and the organisation, and how the role may contribute to service development Understands and acts in line with NMC professional standards for practice contained within The Code Knowledge of when to seek advice and escalate to the appropriate professional for expert help and advice Understands requirements for NMC professional Revalidation Understanding of the importance of following procedures and treatment plans Skills and Abilities
Good basic level of English language demonstrated through effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to solve problems and use initiative Ability to develop own clinical skills and a willingness to participate in continuing professional development Insight into how to evaluate own strengths and development needs, seeking advice where appropriate Basic IT skills (e.g. Microsoft packages) Interpersonal skills - Calm - Supportive - Motivated - Professional Able to prioritise and meet deadlines Able to manage difficult situations Awareness of audit & research Self-motivated A team player Recognition of own limits Flexible working practices for 24 hour service General good health, Able to work on feet for long periods.
