Reed Health & Care are currently recruiting for a permanent Nursing Home Manager for our client based in East Lothian.
Salary:
£60,000 per annum plus generous bonus structure You must be a registered nurse and have a valid NMC pin to be considered for this position. Duties include:
To be registered with the Care Inspectorate and to comply with the Health & Social Care Act 2008 and associated regulations. To be responsible at home level for compliance with all relevant regulation. To be responsible for the efficient day-to-day and long-term management of the Home. To establish and operate the Home ensuring the wellbeing of both Service Users and staff in line with the guidelines and general philosophy of The Company. To organise and lead staff in the provision of a high standard of nursing care in accordance with medical prescription. To attain agreed levels of turnover and profitability and to adhere to annual operating budgets. Recruit, appoint, train and regularly evaluate staff. Implement procedures as laid down by The Company. Liaise with medical, other professional staff, relatives, and representatives of the local community in the promotion of good relationships.
