Purosearch are working in partnership with a wonderful care provider who require a new Nursing Home Manager / Care Home Manager to oversee a beautiful care home / nursing home based in Hampshire, commutable from Southampton, Winchester, Romsey, Eastleigh etc.
As Nursing Home Manager / Care Home Manager, you will oversee the management of a beautiful nursing home that is being developed. You will be tasked with obtaining a good CQC report and improving the home. This home delivers the best possible care to elderly people with dementia care needs, as well as those with complex care needs and high clinical care needs.
Our client prefers to hire an experienced Nursing Home Manager / Care Home Manager. Candidates should ideally be Nurse qualified with either RGN or RMN qualifications. A proven track record of overseeing care homes / nursing homes with excellent resident care delivery and CQC reports is essential. Strong dementia care knowledge is also required.
The successful candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
Nurse qualification RGN / RMN Proven track record of successful care home management Proven success in the nursing home sector Sound knowledge of CQC and Care Standards
Duties will include: Overall responsibility of the nursing home Staff management/appraisals/training within the nursing home Care plans/reviews/meetings Budget management for the home
