Spire Wellesley Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Chemotherapy Manager to join our Cancer Services Team. The successful applicant will provide high-quality care and leadership to facilitate a smooth-running department.
Spire Wellesley Hospital has 3 theatres (2 laminar flow) and an endoscopy unit, a 33-bedded Surgical Ward covering a wide variety of specialties including Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, General Surgery, Vascular, Plastics, Gynae, Ophthalmology, Spinal, Urology, and ENT. We have had a recent theatre refurbishment to further upgrade our theatre environment and bring cutting-edge technology to our hospital.
Duties and Responsibilities
To provide exemplary care for cancer patients undergoing cancer treatment and investigations or inpatient care.
Lead specialist in the area of SACT providing specialist education and support.
Develop practice in the assessment of health and wellbeing needs within cancer services within Spire Healthcare.
Provide and receive complex, sensitive, or contentious information across cancer services.
Lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas, and work practices within cancer care.
Develop strategies and policies for cancer services.
Who We're Looking For
NMC registration with no restrictions.
Minimum 5 years' experience as a senior cancer nurse.
Must be able to administer chemotherapy.
Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied patient cases.
