We have an opportunity for a motivated Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) to join our team, based at our site in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. The role can be interesting and challenging, with two days never the same. If you are up for a challenge and are looking to put your own stamp on the role, then we want to hear from you. Within the role, you will support operations teams by performing necessary breakdown repairs, leading preventative maintenance activity, and facilitating the promotion of engineering solutions for process improvement to ensure process availability and productivity are optimised. The role of the Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) is to effectively maintain all process and auxiliary equipment across the facility with an aim to improve uptime while reducing costs. The role will involve the reporting and recording of maintenance and repair details for all work activities, using the appropriate maintenance management and IT systems. What will you need: To be considered for this position, you must be qualified at a minimum NVQ Level 3, or equivalent in a relevant electrical trade ideally obtained through a recognised craft or modern apprenticeship scheme. The ability to demonstrate experience of a relevant engineering discipline, continuous improvement processes, preventative maintenance techniques, and dealing with contractors. Ability to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills and be computer literate. The ability to work without close supervision, yet under pressure and to tight timescales is essential. You will need to demonstrate a sound electrical background and proven track record. The successful candidate will operate as part of a small team and should be fully conversant with current health & safety regulations. Ideally, you will have experience of electrical maintenance and fault finding within a heavy engineering/industrial environment; essential to the role is the ability to adapt to new equipment. You must be flexible, have a desire to learn and develop. What we can offer you: 35 days holidays per annum Quarterly Bonus Scheme Pension schemes 10%
