OH Medical are seeking a dedicated and experienced

Occupational Health Advisor

to join our clients in-house team in Gloucester. As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of employees across various industries, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and providing expert advice on occupational health matters. Key Responsibilities: Conduct health assessments and screenings, including pre-employment health checks, annual health surveillance, and fitness-for-work assessments. Provide expert advice on occupational health issues such as work-related illnesses, injury management, and employee wellbeing. Offer well-being services, including early pain reporting and initial healthcare inquiries. Collaborate with HR, management, and other healthcare professionals to ensure employee health needs are met. Review injury/illness cases for both work and non-work-related incidents, potentially requiring home visits. Provide support on return-to-work programs and absence management. Deliver health promotion initiatives and support workplace risk assessments. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with occupational health regulations. Key Requirements: Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC registration. Occupational Health qualification (e.g., Diploma in Occupational Health) or equivalent experience. Proven experience working as an Occupational Health Nurse, with a strong understanding of occupational health legislation. Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels within an organization. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in delivering health surveillance programs is desirable. Desirable Skills: Experience in dealing with mental health issues in the workplace. Knowledge of workplace ergonomics and risk assessments. Why Join Us? Competitive salary with benefits.
