We are looking for a nurse to join our busy OH clinic in the centre of Aberdeen. The role is primarily performed within the Aberdeen clinic although there may be a requirement for some offsite work. Delivery of Occupational Health support services in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council’s (NMC) Code of Professional Conduct and Scope of Professional Practice. Our nurses are required to undertake duties autonomously and in collaboration with the IMM doctors and other support services where requested by their line management. IMM is a specialist provider of high quality, bespoke occupational health and medical support services. We focus on keeping employees fit and healthy while providing employers with valuable support and advice. IMM optimise patient care and operational efficiency – enabling you to eliminate risks and reduce costs. We work closely alongside a number of key partners to provide the best integrated medical and healthcare solutions possible. Current requirement: up to 3 days per week but could increase in time. Ad hoc positions also available. Salaries are pro rata and based on relevant experience. Key Task & Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Occupational Health Clinic

OEUK medicals – Offshore Energies medical screening Specialist Medicals – as required by our clients Bideltoid measurements Venepuncture Chester Step Testing Health Surveillance – Standard paper and electronic screening for hearing, skin, respiratory, HAVS Drug and Alcohol testing Workplace Assessments (Health Checks) Wellness medicals Health Promotion Assist the admin team in updating and reviewing clinic paperwork including certificates, questionnaires, consent forms and letters Undertake continuing professional development and annual appraisals to maintain NMC registration and revalidation Travel Health Clinic

Understand and promote all procedures and guidelines to ensure the safety of medication/vaccine storage and administration Undertake travel health risk assessments and consultations Participate in travel health promotion via consultations and the creation of travel health education materials. Write appropriate travel-related advice sheets on all topics of travel health advice, where advice sheets are not readily available Maintain travel health records Provide travel health support and advice to all IMM client contacts Provide basic life support and anaphylaxis treatment in emergencies Skills, Qualifications & Competencies: Behavioural/HSE

Contribute to infection prevention and control Complete SIPCEP foundation training and annual refresher training Follow IMM policies on infection prevention and control Adhere to the processes and policies as outlined in the IMM staff handbook Be pro-active in managing workplace health and safety Be proactive in preventing infection by adhering to infection-control policies and assist in maintaining these Create the best possible experience for clients Communicate effectively; this includes the ability to listen Promote positive body language Handle issues and complaints in a positive and calm manner Strong team development and people management skills Strong interpersonal communication skills Clinical competence in the area of Occupational Health Knowledge of and passion for Occupational Health Nursing Take part in the preparation of evidence for submission to SEQOHS and HIS as required to obtain accreditation Maintain excellent knowledge of the latest OH & Travel best practice, guidelines and professional standards Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion and have an awareness of GDPR that may affect the business A post registration qualification in Occupational Health Nursing would be preferred. Training/Competency (desired)
