We have an opportunity for a qualified Occupational Health Nurse / Advisor to join our plant based in Knottingley on a part time basis over 3 or 4 days per week. The role will provide a full Workplace Health and Wellbeing service incorporating occupational health to the staff of Stoelzle Flaconnage Ltd, promoting health & wellbeing to employees and to safeguard risks arising from their work. This is a specialist, advisory and clinical service with the emphasis on preventative measures. Specific advice on the effects of health on work is provided to all employees and management with individual clinical services such as capability assessments and health surveillance. Responsibilities

Work autonomously and as part of the multidisciplinary team and maintain effective communication with employees, managers and other professionals to ensure seamless service delivery; Act as specialist nurse advisor, advising employees on OH requirements in relation to the working environment; Provide specialist clinical advice in accordance with best OH evidence based practice; Assess new employees at the earliest possible time to establish baseline health; Provide support to employees through potentially difficult/or distressing situations; Undertake the assessment of employees referred; Ensure statutory health surveillance is maintained for all employees; Promote Workplace Health and Wellbeing to all employees; Work within the scope of the NMC Part 3 Scope of Professional Practice and Code of Conduct; Continue professional development of yourself; Support other projects or initiatives assigned to you. Skills & Qualifications Required

Registered Nurse (first level); OHN Qualification (degree or diploma); NMC Part 1 & 3; OH nursing competencies including spirometry & audiometry; Good organisational skills; Ability to write written reports; Workplace experience is desirable; Friendly approach; Ability to work effectively in a busy environment; Experience of MS Office. Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: Up to £30,000.00 per year Expected hours: No more than 22.5 per week Benefits
