Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our clients collaborative, multidisciplinary team. Our client is one of the UK’s leading Occupational Health organisations, supporting the health and wellbeing of over 2.5 million employees across the UK workforce. The Occupational Health Nurse is an integral part of the team, providing a compassionate, professional clinical service that is instrumental in the quality of care that our clients receive.

Duties and Responsibilities: Full OH/Treatment service in line with the client contract including wellbeing assessments, health promotion, advice and education, health surveillance, safety critical medicals, travel health, travel assessments, vaccinations, D&A testing etc. following DHC guidelines and written instructions. Providing professional advice, support and guidance. Assessing new clients presenting to Occupational Health. Assessing individuals' fitness to work for the appropriate job role. Providing clinical assessment of clients presenting with minor illness and injury. Providing health surveillance. Ensuring clinical assessment skills are maintained in line with best practice.

Skills and Qualifications: Experience working within A&E/intensive care Excellent knowledge of occupational health and employment legislation Previous Occupational Health experience is preferable Registered Nurse (Part 1) Bachelors Degree in Nursing or Occupational Health Diploma
