Up to £38 per hour An exciting opportunity has recently become available for an Occupational Therapist to join the Acute Care Services team in London. What will your responsibilities be? You will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to adult inpatients in an acute care setting. Your role will involve conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and facilitating early discharge planning while coordinating with the multidisciplinary team (MDT). You will provide therapeutic interventions to support recovery and independence, prioritize workloads, and adapt to changing priorities. Collaboration with healthcare professionals to manage acutely unwell patients and maintaining accurate, timely records are key aspects of this role. You'll also stay up to date with best practices in acute care occupational therapy. You should have experience working with adult inpatients, preferably in an acute care setting, along with strong assessment and treatment planning skills. Your ability to organize and prioritize workloads effectively, work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team (MDT), and adapt to the demands of the role will be essential. Additionally, you will need a valid driving licence with access to a vehicle and a willingness to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check. How to apply?
