Key Responsibilities Support and Supervise: Mentor students on placement and provide guidance to Occupational Therapy Assistants. Deliver Excellence: Conduct thorough assessments and provide top-tier service delivery. Policy Compliance: Implement and adhere to key policies such as Safeguarding Adults and Health and Safety. Care Management: Develop, monitor, and review care plans in collaboration with service users, carers, and partner agencies. Innovate and Improve: Contribute to team development, including systems management and service evaluation. Provide Specialist Support: Conduct complex assessments and coordinate the provision of specialist equipment and adaptations. To be successful: Essential: HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with a recognised Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy. Experience in health or social care, working with adults and managing caseloads independently. Strong communication skills and the ability to prepare professional reports and care plans. Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices. Flexible with working hours and locations, including occasional extended hours. Desirable: Familiarity with strength-based approaches and willingness to undertake specialist training. Up-to-date moving and handling of people certificate.
