Working as an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Brighton & Hove Clinic, you will join the team that provides psychiatric services, inpatient therapies, and day care programmes for adults and young people who are experiencing difficulties with their life circumstances. The working pattern is four long days which includes: 1x 9 hours, 3x 9.5 hours. Shifts are 10am-8pm/8.30pm and includes working at least one day every weekend. You will work alongside the team at Brighton & Hove Clinic to ensure service users have access to therapeutic interventions to meet their recovery needs and are provided with a range of activities and initiatives to promote healthier lifestyles and skill development. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work 37.5 hours a week and will be working flexible hours to support the needs of the service, including some evenings and weekends. Combining the NICE guidelines recommended therapies, the service creates bespoke programmes that provide person-centred care to support each person’s physical, medical and mental health needs.
