As an autonomous practitioner you will: Provide a flexible and comprehensive service to the community area you are responsible for. Confidently carry out comprehensive and professional interventions for patients with complex needs incorporating physical, personal and psychological needs in relation to self-care, leisure and productivity. Have excellent organisational and communication skills. Provide supervision and development of support workers and students within your team. Maintain links with the immediate team as well as the wider team alongside external agencies to maintain and develop the trust Occupational Therapy service. Have the ability to use computer systems in order to update clinical information necessary for the job role including data collection and audits. Maintain and update own knowledge as required by the HCPC - active encouragement is promoted to seek internal and external training and development opportunities.
