Are you a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist looking to make a difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join a vibrant secondary school in Ealing, supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ranging from verbal to non-verbal abilities. Key Responsibilities: Assess the sensory, physical, and functional needs of students with ASD, tailoring interventions to their individual needs. Develop and implement targeted therapy plans to enhance students' engagement in learning and daily activities. Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and families to create inclusive strategies that support students' development. Provide training and guidance to staff on sensory integration techniques and classroom adaptations. Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure positive outcomes. Requirements: A recognized degree or postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy. HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist. Experience working with children or young people with ASD, particularly in an educational setting. Knowledge of communication tools such as PECS, Makaton, or similar is desirable. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
