You will be expected to take a clinical role in the OT assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of services for clients. Contribute to and participate in multi-disciplinary team assessments. Be involved in the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of person-centred care planning and person-centred formulations. Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy Professional Registration with Health Care Professionals Council Experience
Working clinically in a Mental Health setting Skills
Clinical & Risk Assessment Crisis Management Problem Solving Basic skills for running therapeutic groups Knowledge
Basic understanding of Mental Health Act 1983 and any updates Basic understanding of Community Care Act and Carers Act Specialist Knowledge and application of Occupational Therapy Assessments and interventions relevant to this client group Understanding of applications of brief therapies Understanding of the principles and application of the recovery model and social inclusion Other
