Main Duties for the Occupational Therapist include: Locality teams provide long term assessment and intervention for people/support individuals who require longer term adult social care support ensuring individuals' goals and actions reflect changes in their life and support them to be independent. The Occupational Therapist will work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team to meet the needs of clients referred to adult social care as follows: To manage a caseload including people with highly complex multiple needs covering moving and handling, minor and major adaptations, and equipment provision including specialist and bespoke equipment and seating. To conduct Occupational Therapy assessments for clients within the integrated teams. To provide Occupational Therapy interventions and rehabilitation. To supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants. To Be Successful: Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the community. Experienced Adult Social Care OT required with a minimum of 2 years' experience. Community based with provision of equipment to support home working. Previous experience working with adaptations. Manual handling experience. HCPC Registration. Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you). Eligibility to work in the UK. Car driver essential. Occupational Therapist Qualification.
