Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with complex Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs? As an Occupational Therapist in a special school offering both day and residential provisions, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and enhancing the well-being of these young individuals. Flexible working options are available, allowing you to choose between a minimum of two days a week during term time to a full five-day week, making it easier to balance your professional and personal life. Successful candidate will: Assess and provide tailored therapeutic interventions for young people with complex needs. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans. Support the emotional and mental well-being of students through targeted therapeutic activities. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, making adjustments as necessary. Provide training and support to staff to ensure a holistic approach to student care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all therapeutic activities and progress. Desirable Experience: Previous experience working with young people with Special Educational Needs. Strong knowledge of post-qualifying relevant work experience. Ability to demonstrate effective therapeutic interventions. Experience in a school or educational setting. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to ongoing professional development.
