Kind Support is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join the team at a private mental health hospital in Nottingham. Responsibilities: We are seeking a proactive, compassionate, caring, and recovery-focused HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with excellent communication skills to join our existing dynamic multidisciplinary teams. The role involves holistic OT assessments and interventions to support planning and delivery of patient care. The multidisciplinary teams work collaboratively, based on evidence, and are responsive to people’s needs. The post holder will be involved in clinical supervision of Occupational Therapy support staff, providing guidance and ensuring safe working practices. Professional and clinical supervision will be provided by Senior OT / OT Head of Therapy Services. The post holder will link into the wider OT network and work cooperatively with colleagues to ensure high-quality service provision and gain opportunities for support and Continual Professional Development. There will also be opportunities to provide Occupational Therapy student placements in accordance with local agreements and standards, and to support students from other disciplines. The post holder will liaise with a range of agencies and services. Qualifications: HCPC registration Strong patient care skills In-depth knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology Experience in speech therapy and case management Background in critical care, including ICU and hospital settings Ability to work with paediatric patients Excellent communication skills Familiarity with medical imaging techniques Job Types:
