Part Time (15 hours) - Fixed Term - 12 months An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust (LSCFT) to work as a Band 5 Occupational Therapist on a 12 months fixed term basis. The role is based within the Older Adult Community Mental Health Team at Balladen House Rawtenstall. We are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and forward thinking Occupational Therapist with an interest working with older adults who wants to expand their clinical skills within mental health. You will have excellent communication skills and can demonstrate sound clinical assessment skills with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team. Main duties of the job

Qualifications

Diploma/Bsc/Msc in Occupational Therapy (OT) Ongoing registration with Health Professionals Council Knowledge

Knowledge of current best practice in OT Understanding of professional ethics and their application in practice Basic knowledge of health legislation and current practice, including CPA and risk assessment and management Experience

Application of the OT process Broad range of under graduate practice placement experience Use of functional assessment and the analysis of occupation Disclosure and Barring Service Check
