We have a fabulous opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join a well-established, Band 5 rotation in Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire!

This rotation offers the opportunity to experience a variety of clinical settings within DCHS including Integrated Community Teams, Learning Disabilities, Neurological Outpatients, Older Peoples Mental Health Wards, Acute Inpatient Wards, Adult Social Care, and Community Hospital wards.

The successful candidates must be highly motivated with excellent communication skills, have the ability to work on their own initiative, but also be an effective team worker.

You will be expected to work flexibly, which may include working weekends/bank holidays on a rotational basis.

You will be expected to travel regularly throughout the locality of the team, and therefore access to transport is essential.

As a key person in the directorate, you will act as a role model, be inspirational, dynamic, and a courageous individual.

As a clinical employee, it will be your responsibility to ensure that your behaviour and values reflect those set out in the DCHS Way.

You will be passionate about our business, creating a culture of continuous improvement, where patient welfare is at the heart of all you do.

The opportunity to develop advanced skills across a wide variety of different settings is available, and the right candidate can expect to be supported and coached throughout each rotation. Newly qualified practitioners are welcome to apply for this post.
