Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives? If so, the Recovery at Home team at South Tyneside and Sunderland Foundation Trust are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their team.

This is a unique and rewarding role which will allow you to work with, lead, and support colleagues during a time of innovation and development as our team focuses on the implementation of Urgent Community response and Virtual Wards.

You will work within Directorate One of Community Services, supported by senior colleagues who are passionate and proud of the services we deliver to our community of South Tyneside and Sunderland.

The team delivers planned and unplanned care to people in their own homes, to assist in preventing hospital admission and supporting those who have recently been discharged from hospital, requiring enhanced intervention and short-term rehabilitation support for their physical and functional health needs to remain at home.

Person Specification Qualifications

Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.

HCPC registration.

Valid UK driver's license.

Experience

Experience of working with people with acute or chronic Long Term Condition.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well under stressful situations.
