To work as a key member of the multidisciplinary team in the assessment and management of a caseload of clients. To plan, deliver and evaluate the treatment needs of clients with a variety of complex social and health care needs. To participate as an active member of the multidisciplinary team in developing and delivering high quality and innovative services to the local population. To promote effective teamwork within the wider Surrey Downs Health and Care, delegating activities appropriately, to the benefit of the patient and service delivery. As a therapist within Surrey Downs Health and Care, there will be the opportunity to work closely alongside and potentially rotate into other sectors of the organisation. The expectations within this job description will be achieved through hands-on clinical practice, education and training, and research. Person specification
Role specific
HCPC membership. RCOT membership. Clinical experience relevant to the position. Community Rehab experience. Strong moving and handling experience. Teaching experience. Managing junior staff. Car driver with access to a car for business use. Evidence of strong computer skills eg Microsoft / EMIS / Systm1. Clinical
Able to carry out physical work in rehabilitation. Evidence of self-directed learning. You must have appropriate UK professional registration. This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
