We are searching for an energetic Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our amazing TEAM of clinicians that serves the Winchester residential area of Massachusetts. Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
Providing occupational therapy treatments to individuals in their homes Monitoring patients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary under the supervision of a Registered Therapist Educating patients and families on how to perform exercises and activities Maintaining patient records and documenting treatments About us: VRNS is a clinician-owned and operated home healthcare agency that promotes a strong work-life balance, provides continued support, and cares for their clinicians in the field. Minimum Requirements:
Home healthcare experience is recommended, but not required. Candidates must have an MA Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license. Minimum of 1-year experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Ability to work independently and as part of a team while working with a variety of patients and medical professionals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks, use a computer, including electronic medical records (EMR) systems. This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a commitment to providing compassionate and effective care.
