Job Purpose:

If you want to develop your skills working with children and young people, enjoy the rural area of the Highlands and the lifestyle this has to offer, enjoy a challenge where every day can bring new opportunities and are interested in this post, we have a vacancy available for an Occupational Therapist. This post can be based primarily from Inverness covering town and rural areas, where you would work independently under the supervision of a Band 6 OT. The Occupational Therapy Service to children and young people in Highland is provided by an integrated team of 13 staff. The team is based across the Highlands. We work in a cohesive and supportive team, and use a range of OT skills within our working practice. As we are a rural service, we deliver this through a wide range of intervention styles. The successful applicant in this post will focus on assessment and interventions to promote independence, and the provision of equipment/adaptations. We work with children with physical, developmental, and neuro-developmental needs in a variety of settings in the community.
