Ocean Freight Forwarder
required in the West Yorkshire / Bradford area. This company is an established and growing freight forwarder that works with companies across the UK to import and export goods in and out of the UK. This role is for the Ocean Exports department, where you will be involved in the end-to-end exports of goods from the UK. The role will cover a small amount of other modes of exports, such as Air, providing a great opportunity to learn more. Salary: £30k, with 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
The Role
The Ocean Freight Forwarder position is office-based, involving the end-to-end process of ocean and sea exports. You will ensure all paperwork is in place, bookings for containers are completed, and the paperwork for the goods is accurately listed. This role will include all standard ocean freight forwarder duties.
Experience
We are looking for a candidate from a sea/ocean freight background, ideally with experience in exports. Familiarity with either Cargowise or Multifreight CRM systems is required. You should be organized and able to manage the end-to-end freight forwarding process.
