You will be accountable to the Operations Team Leader for the day-to-day running of customers' import and export requirements via ocean, air, and road, ensuring procedures are followed while also ensuring the department remains profitable, efficient, and focused. Ocean Import Operations & Account Manager Key Responsibilities: Complete start to finish ocean import operations for key customer accounts. Ensure all shipments (imports/exports) are processed within a timely manner. Prompt processing of customer invoicing and passing of supplier costs to meet KPIs. Liaise with shipping lines, carriers, merchant haulage, and overseas agents. Obtain quotes and rates for the best possible price. Provide the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction.
