Office Administrator As an Office Administrator, you will provide proactive and reliable administrative support to all sectors and disciplines within the Scottish office. Your role will ensure the smooth and effective running of the business, exercising judgment and discretion in all tasks. The daily tasks are diverse, including setting up meeting rooms, welcoming guests, arranging travel, organising team events, running errands, and overseeing office maintenance. You will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks, including meet and greet duties, minute taking, telephone answering, and call redirection. You will liaise with internal security teams and other office managers, manage your workload, and delegate tasks to office administrators. Additionally, you will support project teams with documentation and deadline management, manage the Welcome Desk iPad sign-in/out system, arrange business and social events, book meeting rooms, and organise hospitality. Maintaining stationery and welfare supplies will also be part of your duties. The ideal candidate would be a team player with flexibility, judgment, and discretion. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential, along with a good standard of education (Scottish higher level or equivalent). You should have a strong understanding of financial processes and written English, effective oral and written communication skills, and a willingness to take on new challenges and develop the role.
