We at Cyril Worth & Son Ltd are looking to employ an individual to fill a new role that we have created in the company. We are a removals and storage contractor looking for someone, on a part-time contract, to man our office in Tavistock. We are a small family-run business with several employees, so any applicant must be happy working as part of a team as well as lone working. Please note that the applicant must be flexible with the 2 days they can work between Monday to Friday; all shifts will be arranged in advance. Job Role

We are looking for an individual to work in our office, answering phone calls and emails dealing with customer enquiries. The role will also require overseeing any deliveries in and out of our warehouse with additional duties such as invoicing once the successful applicant has become competent at their initial duties. General Duties and Responsibilities

Greeting customers in our reception Daily running and upkeep of the office Answer and monitor all customer enquiries in person, telephone, or via email Liaise with customers regarding bookings and appointments via our electronic system Support staff team members with enquiries Ensure completion of warehouse administration Organise and direct administration to relevant staff Support the Managing Directors with any specific tasks Raising invoices, chasing payments, and keeping our payment system up to date daily Oversee inward deliveries and outward collections in our warehouse The Person

Previous office experience or experience in a similar role (not necessarily in the removals and storage sector) Flexible availability due to operational needs of the company Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks as well as being able to actively seek work in slower periods Strong IT skills Good communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently Excellent customer relation skills Basic knowledge of accounting and other financial procedures Proficiency in filing and paper management Remote Working:

Part-time with potential for extra hours depending on operational requirements. Holiday Entitlement

12 days Schedule

2 days per week TBC (Mon to Fri) 08:00 to 17:00 Pay

£11.50-£12.50 per hour Expected hours: 17 per week Benefits
