Overview We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a proactive approach to managing office operations. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth functioning of our office environment, providing support to staff, and maintaining efficient administrative processes. You will be the first point of contact for our guests and owners so you must have an excellent telephone manner, superb customer service skills and ability to think on your feet. Responsibilities Manage daily office operations, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. Handle incoming calls with excellent phone etiquette. Perform clerical duties including filing, data entry, and maintaining accurate records. Utilise Google Suite for document creation, scheduling, and communication. Take customer payments. Coordinate meetings and appointments, ensuring all necessary materials are prepared in advance. Support the team with various administrative tasks as required to enhance productivity. Maintain office supplies inventory and order new supplies when necessary. Liaise with housekeepers to ensure they are fully provisioned and that work is scheduled and monitored. Requirements Proven experience in an administrative role with strong organisational skills. Proficiency in Google/Microsoft Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Drive) is essential. Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Competency in data entry and computerised record keeping is required. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and improving office processes is essential.
