Are you an experienced Administrator? Do you enjoy working in a buzzing office as part of a close knit team? Then this is the role for you! My client is an established Housing Provider based in West Midlands looking to recruit an Allocations Administrator on a Temporary basis until March 2025. There is scope for this role to become permanent and this is entirely dependent on the business needs of the provider and also key performance indicators. You will be working closely with the Housing Coordinator and will be supporting with all admin related tasks in the voids and allocations of properties. You will be office based and will be working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Responsibilities:

Answering Internal and External enquiries relating to allocations procedure Producing weekly adverts of properties whilst liaising with the communications team Maintain Allocation records and keeping databases up to date with customer information Collating and Analysing statistical information on Voids and Allocations performance Supporting the Housing Co-Ordinator with external stakeholder reporting Ensuring that strict confidentiality is maintained relating to the personal and other details held on individual applications Going through the waiting list and liaising with potential tenants to see if there is a change of circumstance or if they still require housing Putting applications onto the system (Allocations) Complete assessment with tenants – right to rent checks etc Complete viewings with tenants (Lettings) Any current tenants wishing to leave, meet with them and sign surrender of tenancies and take pre-void inspection photos. General admin tasks Accurately record and update appropriate computer and manual applicant files with information and decisions made You will have a keen eye for detail, will be competent with using computers and databases and will be adept in using Microsoft packages. You will also have excellent communication skills and be able to liaise with colleagues in various teams as and when required. The hourly rate for this role is £14.85 per hour Umbrella. If the role does become permanent, the starting salary is £23,000, negotiable based on experience and performance in the temporary role. As part of this role, you will be travelling to properties across Birmingham to take pre-void photos of properties, so you will need to be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle.
