K.A.G. Recruitment are delighted to be working on an exclusive opportunity for an Office and Events Administrator to join our client, one of Europe’s leading privately-owned food processors, at their recently located new Head Office based in Birmingham. This is a prestigious building and alongside providing office accommodation for main board members and central support teams, it also includes a facility to accommodate regular in-house training, meetings, and conference events for the division and the wider business.

25,000 to 27,000 Location:

Birmingham Hours:

9 am to 5 pm Mon - Fri including a 30-minute break - flexibility required when supporting events, with potential for earlier start/later finish, with relevant time back accordingly.

Purpose of the role: You will provide efficient and effective support for in-house events taking place. You will serve as the first point of contact for the business to both callers and visitors, ensuring that day-to-day demands for dealing with requests are fulfilled consistently and efficiently. You will assist with Central Administration across a variety of functions, ensuring tasks undertaken align with best practice while working effectively with the business teams to meet their objectives.

Duties:

Provide support at in-house events, including room set-up and layout as appropriate (space holds up to 100 people), meet and greet, providing refreshments, assisting caterers, and returning the space to its normal status. Provide cover for Reception as and when required to meet the needs of the business. Provide administrative support across key functions within the divisional Head Office using Microsoft Suite and in-house systems.

You will have previous experience working within a similar role and possess excellent communication and organisational skills. You will have excellent attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise workload and quickly respond to the many challenges that may arise. This is a demanding role within a busy environment, where no two days are the same. A full UK driver’s licence is preferred and access to your own vehicle. #J-18808-Ljbffr
